How does the GEA OptiFlour II 600 work?
The product travels along a patented shaker belt, onto which small doses of flour are fed constantly, forming a uniform layer of controlled thickness. A patented flour divider ensures a consistent, adjustable pickup from both the top and bottom of the product, while an integrated lump remover keeps contaminants out of the coating layer.
An adjustable scraper bar prevents flour from sticking to the belt, and optional pressure rolls allow operators to control how firmly the coating adheres to the product surface. All machine settings can be adjusted externally during production, and a transparent hopper lets the operator keep an eye on flour levels at a glance.
