KROMA GUTMASTER 1200
Mackerel gutting and stuffing line
We offer a used KROMA GUTMASTER 1200 mackerel gutting and stuffing line from 2013—a specialized machine designed for the automatic gutting, cleaning, and stuffing of mackerel in fish processing plants. This is a complete industrial processing line that combines several key operations into a single workflow: evisceration, cleaning the fish’s interior, waste extraction, and brine injection. As a result, the machine significantly increases production efficiency, improves process consistency, and reduces manual labor.
The KROMA GUTMASTER 1200 line is designed to process fish weighing 200–500 g. The machine consists of an automatic gutting and cleaning section, the Vacmaster 200 vacuum evisceration system, a 300-liter intermediate tank, a 600-liter airtight container, and the Brinemaster brine injection module. After the gutting and cleaning process is complete, the fish is transferred to the brining station, where a special head with 50 needles, each 2 mm in diameter, injects brine into the product. The fish is then transported by a conveyor to an inspection table or directly into containers.
The entire machine is constructed from acid-resistant materials and AISI 304 stainless steel, ensuring high durability, resistance to the production environment, and easy hygiene maintenance. The line is equipped with a CIP cleaning system and a CWS cleaning system, which help reduce cleaning time and improve sanitary working conditions.

How does the KROMA GUTMASTER 1200 line work?
The process begins with manually placing the fish in special pockets on the conveyor. The fish should be positioned head-first and belly-up, which allows for proper processing at subsequent stations. As the fish passes through the machine, it is automatically measured so that the knives can be adjusted according to its size.
In the first stage, an incision is made near the gills and the belly is opened. Next, special mechanical and pneumatic systems separate the gills, and the Vacmaster 200 vacuum system removes the entrails. Next, the so-called kidney blood is removed, and the inside of the fish is thoroughly cleaned by brushes working in conjunction with a water jet. After this part of the process is complete, the fish moves to the brine injection station and is then collected for further processing.
If there is no fish in a given pocket, the relevant working units are automatically shut down, which reduces machine wear and energy consumption.
Vacmaster 200 – automatic vacuum evisceration system
The GUTMASTER 1200 line works with the VACMASTER 200 vacuum system, which provides a vacuum of approximately 0.5 bar at a flow rate of 200 m³/h. The system is based on a liquid ring pump, which ensures stable operation and reduces mechanical wear. The VACMASTER 200 tank has a capacity of 300 liters and can be equipped with an automatic emptying function, allowing the vacuum in the system to be maintained even while the tank is being emptied.
The pump controller constantly monitors the level and temperature of the working fluid. If necessary, the system automatically adds cool water, which improves operational safety and parameter stability.
Brinemaster – automatic brining
The machine is equipped with the BRINEMASTER system, an automatic brine injector located directly behind the cleaning brushes. This allows the fish, after thorough cleaning, to be immediately prepared for the next stage of processing. In brining mode, the line’s capacity is up to 35 fish per minute.
