NOMA NOWICKI MHM-21/84 F
Brine Injector for Fish and Poultry
NOMA NOWICKI MHM-21/84 F is a brine injector designed for the uniform injection of fish and seafood, both boned and unboned, and – after a quick needle change – any other boned or unboned products, such as poultry. Manufactured in 2026, the machine features 21 needle sockets (84 quadruple needles), steel needles operating at a brine pressure of up to 3 bar, microprocessor control with a color touchscreen, and an AISI 316 stainless steel construction in food-contact areas. Replacement parts are included.
How does the NOMA NOWICKI MHM-21/84 F Brine Injector work?
The product is placed on an easy-to-clean plastic conveyor belt 325 mm wide, which moves it under the needle head. The head performs 21 to 44 strokes per minute, and with each stroke, the conveyor advances the product by a preset increment (16, 35, or 75 mm). The needles inject brine into the product, and a stainless-steel centrifugal pump, controlled by a variable-frequency drive, maintains a pressure that is continuously adjustable in the range of 0.5–3.0 bar in 0.1-bar increments.
The pressure that removes the product from the needles can be adjusted to three different heights, which prevents over-injection. The brine circulates through a system with multi-stage filtration and an additional tube filter, and the 80-liter stainless steel tank allows for mixing (preparation) of the brine and its drainage. The machine can also operate as a tenderizer without the brine pump running.
Key Advantages of the NOMA NOWICKI MHM-21/84 F Brine Injector
The machine ensures even distribution of brine in delicate products, such as fish fillets and seafood, and, after changing the needles, is suitable for injecting poultry and other products, whether bone-in or boneless. Smooth adjustment of pressure and head speed, 2-mm-diameter needles, and three-level pressure adjustment allow the injection process to be tailored to various raw materials and recipes.
A replaceable head with quadruple needles, top-side needle loading, an IP 66 control cabinet with electrical components isolated from water, and easily cleanable parts facilitate changeovers and maintain hygiene. Equipment from well-known manufacturers (Moeller, Schneider, Nord, SEW, ABB, Mitsubishi electronics) ensures durability and the availability of replacement parts.
