How does the BIZERBA GLM-I weighing-labeling system work?
The package passes through the integrated GLM-I automatic scale, which measures weight in the range of 20 g to 6 kg, with a verification scale interval of e=d=1 g. The scale is calibrated for zone 2 (Eichung für Zone 2) and can also be used as an inspection measuring device for packages with declared content from 50 e up to the maximum load. The measured weight is passed to the GLM module, which generates and prints a label with the relevant data (weight, price, dates) and then applies it to the package.
The modular, ergonomic design with detachable print heads and front service access allows for quick changes of label rolls and thermal transfer ribbon, reducing downtime on the production line.
