Line for scalding and dehairing pork carcasses
We offer a complete line for processing pork carcasses – the PEK-MONT line, consisting of two cooperating machines: the SP-1 star-type carousel scalding machine and the OP-3p dehairing machine. The set has been designed for automatic scalding and hair removal from pork carcasses weighing up to 150 kg live weight, making it an ideal solution for slaughterhouses, abattoirs and large meat processing plants.
The carousel scalding machine is divided into 8 chambers, which allows 4 carcasses to be immersed at the same time and ensures a smooth, continuous process. The scalding time is smoothly adjustable and takes about 4 minutes for a single carcass, so it can be adjusted to the size of the carcass and the required technological effect. The electronically controlled scalding temperature ensures repeatable process conditions and high skin quality before dehairing.
The tank drum rotates – a full cycle takes approximately 1 minute, which guarantees that the hot water acts evenly on the entire surface of the carcass. Both the PEK-MONT SP-1 scalding machine and the PEK-MONT OP-3p dehairing machine are made entirely of stainless steel, which facilitates cleaning, meets sanitary requirements and extends the service life of the line.
After scalding, the carcasses go directly to the dehairing machine, where the hair is effectively removed with minimal damage to the skin. Automated flow between machines shortens the process time and reduces manual labour.
